One of the original members, Crabtree Farms is happy to return for their 11th season at our market. Getting back into full farming swing post Spring Plant Sale, Crabtree is bringing crops like green garlic, leeks, swiss chard, kale and maybe squash! As the Spring (and Fall) Plant Sale have become annual resourceful celebrations for gardeners, homesteaders and farmers alike. This record-breaking year allowed them to provide the most edible flowers, medicinal herbs, perennial fruit trees and more to the surrounding community. “Grow, Educate, Connect” is their non-profit mission and they have been branching out beyond their gates off Rossville Blvd.

As their well-known CSA is no more, they are instead putting more effort into hands-on educational opportunities like expanding their U-pick (berries, tomatoes, flowers), hosting more workshops (Soap Making, Farm To Cocktails, and Canning 101), and leading fieldtrips for kids of all ages. Just a zip and a zag from Main & Chestnut, Crabtree Farms gives each visitor an agricultural adventure just blocks from Downtown

Get your preorders in here on their new Barn2Door site and pick it up at our Wednesday market. If you can’t make Wednesdays, their farm stand is now open and preorders may be picked up either Friday or Saturday. Along with produce, both locations will also have plants for sale like blueberry bushes or nasturtiums. Updated weekly, be sure to follow them to find out what new things are in bloom and for sale

For a limited time, farm funny swag like totes or tshirts that say “I love you from Ma Head To-Ma-Toes” or “Holy Shittake.”
