Noke’s Granola

Every recipe starts with a great story and the blend of treats at Noke’s are no different. Starting out as a catering company two brothers quickly found themselves selling their small sides of granola that they had made on fruit trays, out the back of their kitchen. People were finding the combinations irresistible, mainly due to the attention to flavor Chef Ryan “Nokes” Cutchins paid to each small hand crafted batch and the fresh local ingredients being used whenever possible.
But tragedy struck in 2012 with Ryan’s sudden passing, leading his brother to close it all down and go back to working restaurants. After severely struggling for two years Luther thought that thy really had something special with the granola and decided to see if people were still looking for Ryan’s Blend as an option for their granola needs. He made a big batch of granola, hand stamped a bunch of bags, and loaded it up to a small local farmers market to see what the feedback would be….he completely sold out in under an hour. This was the sign he was needed, naming the company after his brother and selling his Ryan’s Blend Granola, he started with the humblest of beginnings making batch after batch out of his home and going to different farmers markets and local craft shows.
Fast forward to today, all of our granola’s and snacks come out of our commercial kitchen still based here in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Luther and his sons are still making all of our delicious treats the same way they did back at the catering kitchen; keeping those traditions and standards while applying them to everything they make and create.
